Hobby is intended for personal, non-commercial projects. A deployment used for financial gain, including work produced by a paid employee or consultant, requires Pro or Enterprise under Vercel's fair-use guidance. Low traffic does not by itself make a commercial site eligible for Hobby.

What the Pro US$20 pays for

• The platform fee includes one deploying team seat
• US$20 of monthly usage credit applies after relevant included infrastructure allocations
• Pro adds collaboration, faster builds, longer logs, spend management, and higher limits
• Unused credit and allocations expire at the end of the billing period

Why the invoice can exceed US$20

• Additional paid deploying seats are charged separately
• Managed infrastructure can switch to on-demand billing after included allocations and credit are consumed
• Optional analytics, observability, security, or enterprise add-ons have separate prices
• Some infrastructure pricing varies by region, so Korean traffic does not imply one universal unit price

• Set spend notifications and a hard-limit action before a traffic campaign
• Estimate Edge Requests, data transfer, function execution, images, builds, and storage separately
